I am back with korean skincare review. I am basically a korean skincare lover. Tbh, most of my skincare and makeup products are from Etude House. However, I don't want to stick to one product forever, so I want to explore more to find the best nutrient for my skin especially my face. Besides, do you ever feel like your skin loves and suits to one product, it gives you the effect you wanted, then one day that effect is gone. Hmm.. Is it possible that our skin get bored to a product? I am wondering.

It is my first time trying Mamonde Rose Water Toner. I heard (read actually :P) that this is the best selling product from Mamonde brand.

Soothing moisture toner in sweeping type that contains rose water 90.89% instead of water (grown in rose canyon in Bulgaria, a rose growing district). Rose in warm characteristic offers excellent moisture to dry skin by indoor heating. 4 Free: no animal ingredient, no mineral oil, no artificial colour and 1/4 dioxin free.

Others percentage consisting of Butylene Glycol (solvent, moisturizer), Plum Tree, Lotus Extract, Glycerin (solvent, moisturizer), Ethylhexylglycerin (moisturizer), Carbomer (viscocity control), Tromethamine (pH adjusters), Phenoxyethanol (preservative), Fragrance, and PEG hydrogel jeneyi Painted -60 castor oil.

The back of the bottle is written in Korean (I can't read T.T)

1. After cleansing, soak with cotton pad and and sweep (exfoliation and moisturising)

2. Spray frequently as moisture mist (moisturising)

3. Soak with a sheet pack and apply as a soothing pack/mask. Leave for 10 minutes when dryness is severe (soothing and moisturising)

4. Pour in an empty bottle with facial oil in 7:3 ratio to use as oil mist

5. Soak rose water to a sponge that applies make up base and apply make up

The bottle itself is in transparent soft pink colour. The design is a simple cylinder tube with white cap on top.

My skin condition after 1 week using Mamonde Rose Toner

The toner remove leftover make up quite well

The liquid is basically like water, only with rose scent hence super light consistency. It indeed smells fresh like rose flower. On the first application, I feel fresh and clean. It doesn't stick and give itchiness  reaction therefore the product suits to even sensitive skin (my skin is mild sensitive). When I used cotton pad to apply, it does wipe off the leftover make up. After 1 week, I can see my red blemishes are reduced. I can say that this toner has given calming effect to my skin. I usually apply toner in 2 ways. In the morning, I will only pour a little to my palm and tap tap all over my face to absorp. In night, I will apply the product in a cotton pad and wipe my face gently to remove leftover make up.

This toner is best followed by moisturizer. I feel like it is too dry if we use only the toner, because it contains alcohol (phenoxyethanol), alcohol can dehydrate your skin and it dries faster hence makes our skin dry too. Besides, I did not feel any obvious effect or improvement to my skin. It only gives refreshing effect so it doesn't impress me at all.

Overall, it is a gentle toner perfect for all skin types, very recommended for the sensitive skin type. However, if you are finding toner with more benefits, maybe this is not the one.
