Audrey Hepburn: The Vintage Icon

Thinking what I should post in my first blog entry. So I wonder how about to just introduce my fashion idol. Correct! The one who inspires and flutters my heart is Miss Audrey Hepburn. I love everything about vintage. These include clothes, bags, shoes, jewelry, furniture and other things that could be vintage. However, this blog will not contain all vintage of course.
A brief description about Miss Hepburn.

Audrey Hepburn was born on May 4, 1929 in Brussels, Belgium. She was a blue-blood from the beginning; her mother was a Dutch baroness and her father who was of English and Austrian descent, worked in business. She became one of the leading actress in Hollywood and a major fashion icon when she started along with Gregory Peck in Roman Holiday in 1953, in which is won an Oscar for her performance. From then onwards, she became one of the most photographed actresses of all time and is commonly referred as the most influential style figure of the 20th Century. The style of dresses worn by her were created by leading designers such as Hubert de Givenchy, who was also her close friend strongly influenced the fashion of the period, as her clothes and accessories continues to be imitated.
She is one of the flawless, Goddess of Beauty, through era. Her elegance and chic style are what I love the most. It is not outdated throughout time. One of my favorite quotes from her is
